The Charlie Boy Foundation was created in memory of Charlie Watson — a young man whose strength, character and kindness left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
At just 20 years old, Charlie faced Stage 4 melanoma with incredible courage. Even during treatment, he completed his joinery apprenticeship, showing determination and resilience that inspired thousands.
Charlie's story reached far beyond his home in Dumfries and Galloway — touching people across Scotland, the UK and around the world.
This foundation exists to carry that impact forward.
We support children, young people and families facing serious or life-threatening illness — providing emotional, practical and wellbeing support when it is needed most.
